About Phoenix Valley
Phoenix Valley was founded on July 19th, 2008. The pack was founded shortly following the great fire that enveloped the former Bleeding Souls territory. Most of the packs did not survive the fire, thus it was around this time that several new pack bodies were formed by the remnants of broken clans.
A more detailed history can be found on Phoenix Valley's Wiki Page.
Phoenix Valley was founded with three of its founders sharing a three-way leader position. Hel, the pack's Sentinel, was Phoenix Valley's strongest warrior. Her time in the pack was rather brief, leaving after only a couple months to accompany her mate elsewhere after the death of her pups. Iskata Sadira was the pack's Matriarch, specializing in watching the borders, being a guardian to the pack. and serving as the pack's warren. Towards the pack's first Christmas, Iskata was attacked by a bear and, permanently scarred and blinded, stepped down from her Matriarch rank to the rank of Whilom (a rank for older members or retired leaders).
Deuce Rhiannon, the pack's final founder who served as the Shaman (healer) of the pack, was left as the last leader at Iskata's leave, thus it was when Iskata stepped down that Jefferson Soul was promoted to the subleader ranks to assist the Shaman. In January, Iskata disappeared from the pack unexpectedly and was soon assumed dead; she was actually killed by Gabriel de le Poer, whom she and Phoenix Valley had struggled with over a long period of time, but this was not known to Jefferson until almost a year later. The following February after Iskata's death, Deuce took her leave from the pack due to personal reasons and moved to Dahlia de Mai, leaving Jefferson with the pack. Jefferson, the only leader, served alone for a while. The three-way leader ranks now unnecessary, Jefferson combined the leader ranks into a single rank and thus called himself the Patriarch.
A few weeks after Deuce's leave and Jefferson's promotion to leader, the Patriarch took his old friend and Iskata's son DaVinci Da'ite Nasphrite as his subleader. DaVinci and Jefferson led Phoenix Valley successfully for several months; the two were very close, although the pack's leadership was lacking a compassionate face as both leaders weren't the friendliest towards strangers. However, after a long but unsuccessful romantic struggle with Ryan de le Poer of Inferni, DaVinci took his leave of Phoenix Valley almost as quickly as he came. A few weeks later around late summer of 2009, he was replaced by Geneva Stockholm, a kindhearted and gentle wolfess originally of Crimson Dreams who had proven very loyal and trustworthy in her brief time in the pack. Fortunately, her gentleness was a good balance to the rough exterior of Jefferson. It was not until a few months after Geneva's promotion that Jefferson and Geneva surprisingly became mates, thus leading Phoenix Valley hand-in-hand.
In April of 2010, Geneva took a nearly three-story tumble off a wall in the northern Quarry territory of the pack lands. Barely surviving thanks to the efforts of Dawali Amara and Ember Phoenix of allianced tribe AniWaya, Geneva was scarred both emotionally and physically. She immediately stepped down from her subleader position, claiming the Whilom rank used only once before for Iskata Sadira -- a rank for ex-leaders who, for whatever reason or another, had fallen from grace or otherwise did not belong in the "average" ranks. Jefferson, though also torn and scarred by the experience of rescuing his mate, continued to lead the pack alone.
